Known for its deep legacy in STEM, agriculture, and veterinary medicine, Tuskegee has always understood that innovation begins at the source. Explore the origin story of beauty — raw materials. Students will examine the natural and synthetic ingredients at the foundation of cosmetic science, from botanical extracts to mineral compounds, and discover how STEM disciplines like chemistry, biology, and agricultural science drive product innovation. This experience spotlights career pathways in cosmetic chemistry, ingredient sourcing, and formulation science — and positions students to see raw materials not just as inputs, but…
