Shawna Stepp-Jones spent years living with a problem most of the beauty industry overlooked: the long wait for bundles to dry before an install. As a hardware engineer and former U.S. Patent Examiner, she had the tools to solve it. So she built Spundle, the first no-heat dryer for wigs and weaves, and founded Divaneering Lab Inc. to bring it to life. Known as The Divaneer, Shawna has since become a 2026 Light of Baltimore fellow, a two-time Entrepreneur in Residence for Build In Tulsa's W.E. Build Accelerator, and a member of the 2023 Techstars Equitech class.
